Isolation

I never knew such an empty feeling

Could be so full of pain.

I never noticed how quiet it is

When voices scream in my brain

In my loneliness, I am afraid to speak

In fear that no one will reply

My tongue pickles in my own mouth

And my teeth emulsify.
