Let me be the smallest one
Let me crawl inside your veins
And take a good look around
And float through the river of your body.
Can I swim through your blood
And ride upon a cell or two?
Can I climb the slimy walls
of your rapid, churning heart.?
Can I scale your noble lungs
And feel the gust of each heave and sigh?
Or can I crawl up to your lips
To perch and watch your day go by?
Let me explore the depths of your brain
I’ll climb the ladder of your spine.
The fluids stir- you must be thinking
Your body’s mine, I think I’ll stay.
